My child has been attending the lesson and she had learned many Chinese characters through the interactive approach and stimulating teaching environment.
The lesson is usually centred round an interesting story and the children pick up a host of language activities and crafts that relates back to that story, thus presenting the Chinese characters in meaningful contexts. Students also participate in the lesson by playing matching games like matching Chinese characters with the correct pictures, doing simple crafts and reciting short poems with their teacher. The teacher is also very lively and patient with her students.
I believe the students at PALs have definitely gained much knowledge through the programmes provided by Eduplus.

我很感激“愛的博乐”对我孩子–煦凯在华语上的帮助。
我一向来都认为煦凯的华语程度不错。可是到了K2 上半年,新接任的华语老师对煦凯的华语表达能力有所担心,他不能以流畅的华语跟老师交谈,也不会以华语翻译英文老师所讲的东西
因为我们的主要语言是英语,煦凯在家里也不常用华语和我们交谈。经过老师的提醒,我也注意到煦凯是凭借他良好的记忆力在华文的听、读、写 项目中顺利过关的。可是到了自由表达或会话部分就有了明显的落差。煦凯也因为不能流利的用华语与人交谈而变得不爱说华语。
深怕孩子对华语慢慢失去了信心, 我开始打听哪里有好的语言中心可以帮助改善煦凯对学习华文的态度和建立他对讲华语的信心。正巧有一个朋友向我推荐“愛的博乐”。 她指出“愛的博乐”通过广播和录音教导孩子正确的发音,和其他语言学校不同。于是我便带孩子下去了当时的 UE Square 中心询问课程详情。那里的老师帮煦凯作了一些测试并发觉他可能是缺乏讲华语的环境。老师指出“愛的博乐”口语造句班应该可以帮助他。
在我三心两意不知道要不要报名时,老师鼓励我让煦凯先上三个月,她还保证这三个月内我一定会看见效果。因此,煦凯就加入了“愛的博乐”这个大家庭。
那三个月里,煦凯,每星期都很想往上“愛的博乐”的课。他很喜欢那里的老师。我想是因为老师不凶,也能包容他的好动。老师也会用不同的管道和方式对孩子进行教育。让孩子在开心和有趣的环境中吸收知识。我喜欢“愛的博乐”不完全以学校成绩为主,让孩子在一个轻松自在的环境下学习。我相信正确的学习态度和环境终究会显示在成绩上。更让我感动的是,煦凯在三个月后,在华语表达上有了明显的进步。托儿所的老师也表扬煦凯能自信的用华语与人交谈,认识的字也多了。老师也确定煦凯已达到一年级的华语水准。但是还要继续努力,不要降低要求,让孩子能发挥他在华语方面的潜能。
现在煦凯已经上了大半年的小一了。学校老师对他的评估还不错,各个项目都得了优等。
我很认同“愛的博乐”的教学方式, 也很满意孩子在“愛的博乐”的收获。
因此也让四岁大的女儿加入“愛的博乐”这个大家庭。希望可以和哥哥一样受益。

he has received numbers of certificates from the school.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers for their hard time with my child.
When my son, Delbert Yap Qian Yi, Primary 3 student, we enrolled him at Ulu Pandan Centre one and half year ago for the Higher Chinese class, he refused to attend as he has lack of confidence because in the neighbourhood school, they will start Higher Chinese in Primary 5 and 6 only and moreover he found out that he is the rose among the thorns and he felt very uneasy. But luckily my boy came to the right class with a good teacher, Li Yuan Lao Shi with her love and guidance and always with a smiling, cheerful look and my “prince” likes her way of teaching as she has focused on the Eduplus teaching vision to let the child build his/her confidence and the class is not boring but lively. Every student given a chance to read aloud a passage in front of the group of “princess”. With this exercise then the child will show more interest and passion towards Chinese.
Compared to other learning center, every student comes in for the class and he/she just walk straight into the class room while waiting for the lesson to conduct but in Eduplus center before every lesson starts, the Eduplus teachers always makes an effort to form a group to present lively cultural mini show, guessing of words or etc. for all children regardless of each level.
Lastly, I sincerely thank again to the teachers that my son, Delbert Yap Qian Yi is not hating Chinese and shows interest and improvement and he has received numbers of certificates from the school. It is worth to sacrifice every Saturday for him to attend the lesson.

My son Ezekiel Tan came to Eduplus on April 2009 when he was in Pri 4. His Chinese was very week. After he studied in Eduplus for 2 years, he made great progress in Chinese. He was awarded “Top 3 Most Improved in Mother Tongue” by the Government school he is in on February 28th this year. We want to share this good news with parents and hope other children make similar progress in Chinese.
